Moylagh 50 Mile Challenge

The second annual Moylagh JFK 50 Mile Walk in Aid Of the Irish Cancer Society and LARCC takes place on Saturday June 8th 2013.

The walk starts from Moylagh Community Centre in Dromone at 6.00 a.m. (near Oldcastle, Co. Meath) and will be officially started by legendary former Meath manager Sean Boylan.

This event was inspired by The first JFK 50 Mile was first held in the spring of 1963.
It was one of numerous such 50 mile events held around the country as part of President John F. Kennedy's push to bring the USA back to physical fitness

Last year's walk succeeded in raising €47059 for the Irish Cancer Society.

The event is open to all from those who want to complete the full 50 miles to those who just want to complete a shorter distance and help support this great cause.

Each walker is required to raise a minimum of €50 in Sponsorship.
