Gaeil Colmcille kept themselves in the hunt for league honours with a well earned round 4 win over Clann Na nGael. The game was played in ideal conditions at Grangegodden.

Both teams fielded under strength teams. Gaeil Colmcille held a 0-6 to 0-3 half time lead. The game was still in the balance midway through the second period but a fine last 15 minute performance from the Kells men gave them a six point victory.

The winners had good performances from Barry Tormey and Liam Ferguson, Cormac Keegan and Gary McGovern while the evergreen Conor Ferguson rolled back the years at full foward.
