Wicklow's joy at retaining their Allianz Hurling League Division 2A status turned to frustration and anger yesterday when they discovered that their dressing room had been raided.

A substantial amount of cash and valuables were reportedly stolen by a thief/thieves as Casey O'Brien's men battled for their Division 2A survival against Down in St. Loman's Park, Trim. Wicklow won by 2-14 to 0-17, but their players got a big shock when they returned to their dressing room to discover some of the belongings had been stolen.
