Clonard's first game since they claimed the JFC B ended in defeat to Math Hill.

First half scores from David Rowley (0-4), Bernard Reilly (0-1), Niall Walsh (0-1), Ian Campbell (0-1) ensured a narrow lead at half-time 0-7 to 0-6.

Meath Hill found the net shortly after the interval and they built on their advantage with a further five points while substitue Eanan Lynch scored a point from play and two from David Rowley.
