January 23, 2012

Ballivor's Killian Canavan
Galway champions Naomh Padraig, Clonbur eased past Ballivor by 3-4 to 0-3 in a low scoring affair at Carrick-on-Shannon.
The eventual winners scored their first goal of the match after just seven minutes when Brian Keane was on the end of a good move before finishing to the net.
A further seven minutes later and Clonbur were well in control after Walter Holleran scored his side's second goal as they went on to lead by 2-2 to 0-1 at half time.
Two minutes into the second half and the game was over as a contest as Eamonn O'Cuiv netted his side's third goal and Ballivor had no answer, even though Adam Gannon and Joe McLaughlin pointed.
