St. Patrick's earned themselves two points away to a very competitive Meath Hill outfit in the reserve league in what proved to be a frustrating game for both sides.

Meath Hill went ahead early on 0-3 to 0-1 as St. Pats hit many wayward shots wide despite having the majority of the possession. A fortunate goal from Neil O' Flaherty steadied the ship somewhat and Pats went on to lead at halftime by 1-3 to 0-4.

Meath Hill upped their game again in the second half but could not break down the full back line of Ben Baxter, Niall Black and Tommy Reilly who produced some top class defending. They were well supported by the half back line as Meath Hill were kept scoreless for the entire second period.
