Na Fianna advanced to the semi-final of the JHC when they came from behind to defeat Trim on Thursday evening in the Trim grounds.

Na Fianna held a one point lead at half time and both sides traded scores early in the second half where there was little to choose between the teams.

Davy Reilly was in good form from frees, Jamie Queeney was dominant at midfield and the full back line of Davy Gorman, Marty Dixon and Tony Healy snuffed out many Trim attacks. When Daniel Queeney netted midway through the second half Na Fianna gained a stranglehold on the game and they finished strongly to advance to the semi final.

Best for Na Fianna in a game where all the team excelled were: Davy Gorman, Marty Dixon, Tony Healy, Jamie and Daniel Queeney, Davy Reilly and Fergal Fagan.
