In what was an overall excellent team display, Edwina Olwill was in fine form in the St. Michaels goals and with the ever-improving Mary Smith and Rachel Lynch controlling the half back line the home side built up a deserved 5 point interval lead 3-7 to 1-8.

An evenly matched second half saw both teams register 2-5 apiece. Corner forward Alisha Curtis put in a man of the match display scoring 3-1 while being ably assisted by Laura McCabe, Aishleen Regan and Leanne Lynch who were well supplied with ball by midfielders Sinead McCormack and Megan O'Brien.
