Na Fianna: 1-09
Dunshaughlin: 2-13

Na Fianna travelled to Dunshaughlin on St Patrick's morning and ran out of steam in the second half as a strong Dunshaughlin minor side condemned them to defeat.

Na Fianna were the dominant team for much of the first half and some slick forward play and tenacious defending saw them open up a 0-8 to 0-1 advantage with twenty minutes gone. Daniel Queeney (2), Sean O' Neill (2) Lewis Dowling and John Collins all sent over points as Na Fianna looked set to run away with the game. But a strong finish to the half from Dunshaughlin which included a goal and five points gave them a 1-6 to 0-8 advantage at the break.
