In this Division 1 B FL game played in Cortown on Sunday following a competitive first half, in which Cortown more than held their own, the visitors were lucky to lead by three points at half time.

Cortown went ahead with two early points from play. Duleek/Bellewstown replied with two frees from John Flood. Eanna Byrne pointed before Cortown equalised. Casey Dunne and Jamie Bissett pointed before the home side pointed again. Bryan Cudden (free) and Jamie Bissett pointed to leave the East meath team ahead at half time.

Duleek/Bellewstown started the second half the stronger and had Cortown out of sight by the 40th minute with scores from Ciaran Collins, Cudden (2, 1 free) and a goal by full forward Andrew Power left 8 points ahead.
