Meath's Joe Sheridan
Joe Sheridan believes Meath are capable of shocking Kerry in Sunday's All-Ireland football semi-final. The Seneschalstown clubman feels the Royals' desire to put silverware on the table can lift them to new heights. "We have got this far, but there is nothing won yet and we just have to concentrate and keep doing the things that we have been doing right," he said in the Irish News. "We probably had a settled team for most of the championship games that we have been playing. We have got a style of play that we have been used to and it builds confidence throughout the team. "Everyone knows their roles and we have a serious panel of players as well. We have seen different lads come in for different games. The strength in the panel is a massive thing for us, as is our confidence in our own ability to hopefully push on." He added: "You want to be contending for Leinster finals and All-Ireland titles. You aren't training in the winter to be playing for O'Byrne Cups or whatever. At the end of the day, you are in training for an All-Ireland title, no matter what county you are from."
