Gaeil Colmcille are holding a Gala Dinner on Friday 21st November entitled "The Heroes of Irish Sport" in the Headfort Arms Hotel. This Gala Dinner is being run as the main fundraising event in 2008 for the Grangegodden development. In attendance on the night will be Sporting Legends from Kells, Meath and Ireland including: Ø Mickey Harte, Manager of the Tyrone All-Ireland Winning Football Team Ø Damian McGrane, Volvo China Golf Open Winner Ø Noel Meade, National Hunt Racing Champion Trainer Ø Tom Sheridan & Brian Carroll, All-Ireland Handball Senior Doubles Champions We have our very own club person and Kells native Damian Farrelly, 2FM DJ and Brendan Cummins, Meath GAA PRO and LMFM Sports Broadcaster as MC's for the night. Our MC's and audience will participate in a Question & Answers session with our guest celebrities and it is intended to discuss with our sports stars some of their highlights in 2008, to celebrate their achievements to date and to discuss their hopes and ambitions for the future. In addition to the Celebrity Sports Guests, a sit down meal will be offered and music will be provided by C'est la Vie and of course fun, chat, banter, music and craic are guaranteed.
