Kildalkey 1-14  Rathmolyon 0-10

Kildalkey welcomed Rathmolyon for this first round Division 3 league game on Saturday evening.

Conor Kearney hit the first point for the blues which was quickly followed up by one each from the McKeon brothers Brendan and Kevin and Brian Coneely and Francy Doran.

Rathmolyon responded with 4 points from frees. Kearney closed the Kildalkey scoring with 3 points, 2 from frees, to leave the score 0-8 to 0-6 at the halfway point.

Rathmolyon made a real fight of it in the second half and got a couple of nice points early on but Kildalkey emptied the bench and pushed on with 3 more Doran points, 1 each for Matt Rickard and Arron Byas and a great goal for Brian Coneely to seal the win and the 2 points.
