Summerhill added 2-2 in the closing ten minutes to seal this win over Seneschalstown in this Round 3 Group C Meath JFC clash at Martry

Seneschalstown started off brightly with a goal from Brendan Lynch but Summerhill dominated possession around the middle of the park and scored 1-09 from the 2nd to 12th minute.

In the twenty first minute Edward Meade brought Seneschalstown back in to the game with a goal following a combination of passes between Adam O'Mara and Ross Howard. Soon after Eoin Finnegan followed up with a goal and a point. Summerhill had another purple patch to score 1-02 and go in at the break seven points in front 2-11 to 3-1.

Neill Darby narrowed the gap with the opening score of the second half. An Eoin Finnegan brace reduced the lead to six points after ten minutes and from the 12th to 17th minute Seneschalstown reeled off four points through Robert Ruddy Meade (2) and Ryan O'Dowd to leave just two between the teams. Summerhill were not to be denied victory and added 2-2 to their tally in the closing ten minutes to seal victory.

Sean Brady who was drafted in at the last minute due to a shortage of numbers came on as a blood sub to ensure the team had the full complement on the pitch in the first half.
