Drumconrath Report

Moylagh 0-14 Drumconrath 0-7

Drumconrath made a big improvement on last weeks display but still went under to last year's JFC Finalists Moylagh. The concession of 6 scoreable free's in the 1st half gave wind assisted Moylagh a 0-8 to 0-3. Drumconrath had their fair share of possession with Robert McEntaggert pointing twice and Stephan Crosby also getting on the score board.

Drums had a number of goal chances early in the 2nd half with both Terry Skelly and Gavin Finnegan unlucky to see shots tail wide and when Moylagh pointed on their 1st 3 attacks to lead 0-11 to 0-3 it looked bleak for Drumconrath.

Drumconrath rallied and points from Crosby, Skelly and 2 from Gavin Finnegan had Moylagh looking over their shoulders as the gap was now down to 4 points with 15 minutes to go. An injury to a Moylagh players gave them time to gather themselves and while Drumconrath continued to press all they had was a number of wides and a shout for a foot block penalty waved away.

Moylagh settled and added three injury time points to give them a deserved but some what flattering win.
