Meath Hill opened their Div 4 B League with a win over Bective in Meath Hill.
It was 0-6 to 0-2 at the break to the home team. Meath Hill extended their lead early in the second half and despite a brief Bective comeback with ten minutes remaining, a late Donnchadh Boyle goal put the result beyond doubt.
In a game where the 'Hill kicked some good scores, Cathal Marry, Emmet Matthews and Jack McMahon stood out.
