With no game for the Meath seniors Rathkenny could call on Caolach Halligan and Donal Curtis for there All County League Division 2 clash. County selector Donal Curtis was introduced as a substitute. Halligan and Keogan accounted for 1-5 of the winners total.
Rathkenny came away from Dunganny on Sunday afternoon with two hard earned points.
In blustery conditions, Rathkenny got the better of the opening exchanges to take a 1-7 to 1-3 lead into the break.
After the resumption, both teams traded blow for blow with Robbie Garry able to finish a flowing team move finding the back of the net. Curraha replied with a goal of their own but Rathkenny took control of possession in the final minutes of the game and were unwilling to relinquish their lead.
