Meath Hill made it back-to-back home wins with a comfortable win against Cortown on Friday night.
The 'Hill were fast out of the blocks and led by 0-6 to 0-2 after 15 mins, before a goal from Emmet Matthews and further points left the score 1-11 to 0-3 at half time.
Cortown were better for the first ten mins of the second half, but Meath Hill dominated the last 20 mins with a Donnchadh Boyle goal the highlight.
Youngsters Paddy Matthews and Thomas Carolan impressed again in an overall strong team performance. Next up is Ballinlough away.
