28 Meath GAA clubs have benefited to the tune of €1,474,000 from the Government Sports Capital Grants.
A total of €56m will be distributed to clubs and authorities around the country in the latest round of sports capital grants, it was confirmed this morning.
The programme is the primary means of providing Government funding for capital projects to sport and community organisations at local, regional and national level.
The 2017 round for applications closed in February with a record number of 2,320 received.
