Kelly named Eire Og manager
February 25, 2015Eire Og have appointed Fergal Kelly as their manager for the 2015 campaign.
The former Mayo footballer hails from the Ballyhaunis club who won the Mayo intermediate championship last year and Eire Og chairman Declan Woods is hopeful that he can guide his new charges to the intermediate title this year.
"Hopefully, Fergal will bring his dedication, passion, experience and knowledge to James Timothy Park as we attempt to gain promotion back to O'Gara Cup football and to perform well in the intermediate championship," Woods told the Roscommon Herald.
"Fergal is a highly respected GAA person locally and has gained coaching and management experience through his role with Mayo development panels. I hope to be in a position to announce his selectors shortly."
