The news on the injury front wasn't good for Mayo manager James Horan this week.
Last weekend, there was a full round of club league action and a number of county players returned to county training with injuries.
Michael Conroy (shoulder), Chris Barrett (ankle), Brian Gallagher (ankle) and Enda Varley (ankle) all sustained injuries and Horan will be monitoring their progress this week.
It is understood that Gallagher suffered ankle ligament damage after landing awkwardly during Claremorris' defeat to Knockmore and looks set to miss Mayo's clash with Galway next month.
However, in better news for the Mayo manager, Alan Dillon, Keith Higgins and Jason Doherty all came through their matches unscathed having recovered from injury.
Jason Gibbons (hamstring), Tom Cunniffe (Achilles), Barry Moran (ankle) and Andy Moran (knee) all remain on the injured list though.
