Fermanagh will face Mayo at Brewster Park in aid of the Sam Bradley Care Fund.
Fermanagh will face Mayo at Brewster Park on Saturday, May 4 in a senior football challenge to raise funds for toddler Sam Bradley, who is battling a rare form of cancer.

The 21-month-old, who is the son of former Erne County forward Colm, is currently undergoing treatment and will be recovering from eight-hour surgery to remove a tumour from his right kidney by time the game takes place at 6pm in Enniskillen.

Sam's mother Michelle hails from Kiltimagh, hence the reason why Mayo have been chosen to provide the opposition for Peter Canavan's side.

Speaking to the Irish News, Colm Bradley explained: "The surgery is the second phase in a six-phase treatment plan before more chemo, radiation and then immunotherapy.

"No matter what has happened, whether he's getting an injection or whatever, five minutes later he's smiling again. Even during the Dublin v Mayo game on Sunday, he was running around, kicking a ball and shouting and roaring at the TV.

"He's incredibly strong - my wife says it must be the Mayo in him!"
