Mayo's Conor Mortimer
Mayo manager James Horan expressed contentment with the performances of his fringe players after yesterday's win over Roscommon.
Comeback kid Conor Mortimer scored six points as the Connacht champions sealed their place in Friday's FBD League decider against NUI Galway at McHale Park.
"There are some guys in our thoughts and some guys definitely put up their hands," Horan said.
"They will definitely be in contention for the National League, we have a big game now against NUIG next Friday night in the FBD final so that will tell a lot.
"We will just keep monitoring things at training to see how guys will perform, and we will take it from there. We are playing on Friday now in McHale Park under lights and that is good. In the league, we are playing both Laois and Dublin under lights so that is good preparation for us."
