Kirby remains grounded

Mayo's Danny Kirby
Mayo full forward Danny Kirby was 'happy enough' with his four goal haul against GMIT last weekend.
The 19-year-old in only his second start for Mayo seniors fired in four goals in a four-minute period between the 23rd and 27th minute of the first half.
A remarkable achievement regardless of the competition and one that had it happened to a more high profile player would have cause more of a sensation in the media.
However, the Castlebar forward detracted praise from himself and applauded team mates Conor Mortimer and Evan Regan for their parts in the goals.
"I'm happy enough," a modest Kirby told the Mayo News. "The goals just seemed to keep coming. I actually didn't do a lot of work for them. Conor and Evan did the hard work. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time."
