Andy Moran will return to the Mayo football team before the end of the month.

The All Star attacker has been out of action since breaking his leg while training with the International Rules panel last September.

However, Moran didn't require surgery as it was a clean break and he came through a full warm-up on Sunday ahead of his county's FBD league victory over GMIT.

Though he didn't appear in the game against the students, the Ballaghaderreen clubman is sure to feature at some point before the start of the league.

Mayo face Roscommon in the subsidiary competition this weekend and are also guaranteed a place in the home final on January 29th.

They open their Division One programme away to Laois on Saturday, February 4th. Tweet
