The 2010 senior football championship reaches the knockout stages as neighbours Knockmore and Crossmolina go head-to-head in the most intriguing of the quarterfinals.

The action begins on Saturday evening when Ballintubber and Ballina Stephenites meet at McHale Park at 6.30pm in the only quarterfinal to be played that evening.

On Sunday, football fans are set for a real treat as a triple header of quarterfinals take place with the clash between Castlebar Mitchels and Breaffy getting proceedings underway at 2pm.

This is followed at 3pm by the meeting of Charlestown and Shrule/Glencorrib and then the eagerly awaited battle between Knockmore and Crossmolina is at 5pm. Tweet
