NFL 1: Mortimer inspires Mayo win

Ciaran O'Leary got an injury time goal for the hosts to put some respectability on the scoreboard after Tom Parsons had goaled in the 58th miinute to effectively finish this match as a contest.
Kerry led by 0-5 to 0-4 at the end of a disappointing first period, with a run of three unanswered points just before the break.
The sides bagged two points apiece inside the first ten minutes. Bryan Sheehan registered for the Kingdom from a free in the third minute, with Enda Varley (2) on target for the visitors. Colm Cooper (free) levelled for the hosts.
The Connacht champions led by two with 25 minutes gone after scores from Varley frees, 0-4 to 0-2.
Sheehan, Ciaran O'Leary (32) and Cooper got the last three scores of a poor first half.
The All-Ireland champions bagged two of the first three points after the turnaround. Alan Dillon was first on target before Cooper and O'Leary replied for the Kingdom. Andy Moran added a Mayo point to close the gap to one, 0-6 to 0-7.
Conor Mortimer came off the bench early in the second half and hit four sublime points from play to turn the match on its head. The improved visitors also had scores from Dillon and Trevor Mortimer to lead by 0-12 to 0-8 after 55 minutes.
