Andy Moran cut a content figure after Mayo's comfortable victory over Galway.

John O'Mahony's charges cantered to a facile win over their Connacht rivals in Castlebar on Sunday and impressive wing forward Moran - who chipped in with a brace of points - was all smiles at the final whistle:

"We're delighted to get the win. It's very important that you win your home games and any day you beat Galway is a good day.

"We'd focussed in on this game for the last few weeks. We wanted to get off to a good start.
