Mayo pair set for early return

Mayo's Conor Mortimer
Mayo manager John O'Mahony has received a much welcome boost with the news that All-Star pair Conor Mortimer and Alan Dillon will be cutting short their travel plans to return to the squad in two weeks' time.
Mortimer and Dillon have been travelling around the globe since November, spending time in Australia and South Africa, where they are currently based. Their quick return means they should be in line to face Dublin, when O'Mahony's men welcome the Leinster champions to Castlebar for the third round of the National Football League on March 7.
"Alan and Conor will be back around mid-February," said O'Mahony.
"That will give them plenty of time to get in a decent amount of training before the Dublin match.
"Myself and the two lads have been keeping regularly in touch, and I've been advising them on training schedules. So they should be in very good shape when they get back."
Their return will be most welcome by O'Mahony, with return dates for injured trio Tom Cunniffe (groin), Aidan Kilcoyne and Barry Moran (both shoulder) known as of yet.
