The Connacht Council has confirmed that next year's provincial championship showdown between Sligo and Mayo at Markievicz Park will take place on Sunday, June 6th. The winners will play either Galway or New York on the Connacht SFC semi-final, which is scheduled to take place on June 27th, with the final down for July 18th. Meanwhile, next year's Connacht Under 21 football championship fixtures have revealed that Sligo will take on Galway in the semi-final on St Patrick's Day, March 17th. Mayo face Leitrim on March 10 underlights in Cloone, where the winners will play Roscommon in the other semi-final. Tweet
