O'Mahony wary of O'Connor factor

Former Mayo manager John O'Mahony
Mayo manager John O'Mahony had admitted that his side will be "up against it" when they face Jack O'Connor's Kerry down in Tralee this Sunday. Looking to build on their first win of their NFL campaign against Westmeath last Sunday, Mayo face a Kerry side that have picked up maximum points so far and only trail Galway at the top of the Division One table on score difference. O'Mahony believes that Jack O'Connor's presence back in the Kingdom camp has helped Kerry set that familiar pace that they boast once again this season. "All we can do is throw everything at them," said O'Mahony. "If we can get a performance in - no matter where that takes us - that's all we can ask for. "Kerry are going very well. They have Jack O'Connor back as manager and have a huge focus on the league. If they had a manager who was there for a few years they wouldn't have as much heed on it, but we'll give it a rattle and see what happens. "We are up against it we know that," he added. Mayo visit Austin Stack Park this Sunday, March 15, in the fourth round of the NFL where throw-in time is scheduled for 2.30pm.
