O'Mahony prepared to wait on veteran stars

Mayo manager John O'Mahony insists he won't be putting any pressure on experienced campaigners James Nallen and David Heaney to make a quick decision about their inter-county futures.
O'Mahony, who is about to enter his third term as manager, said he is prepared to wait until January for the pair to come to a decision.
"I'm not sure yet what James' and David's plans are for next year, but we will be giving them plenty of time to make up their minds," he said.
"In fact, we'll leave it until January before asking them if they want to continue for another year. There's no urgency to get a decision from James and David before then.
"Like all the rest of the players, we have given James and David a personalised weights exercise programme which they will be working on over the next two months or so.
"Of course, because of the new directive from Croke Park banning teams from doing any collective training before the end of the year, we won't be able to get together during this month and December."
