Change of date for AGM Due to a direct clash with the Mayo Under 21 A Championship Final involving Ballintubber on Sunday, November 30, the club have been forced to change the date of their Annual General Meeting to Sunday, December 7th. The venue and time remain the same: Carnacon Community Centre at 3pm. All nominations for officers should now be with the secretary by Friday, December 5th. Club stars banquet Two of Ballintubber's star players of the 2008 championship, Jason Gibbons and Alan Dillon, have been nominated for a prestigious Mayo News/AIB/O'Neills Club Stars Award, which will be presented in Knockranny House Hotel in Westport on Friday, November 28. Both players put in a sterling effort during the club's run to the last four in the county and the club is hoping for a big turn out of support for the players on the night. Enable Ireland are this year's beneficiaries of the banquet and tickets, priced Ä60, are available from The Mayo News office on 098 25311.
