Mayo manager Stephen Rochford has stressed that they won't be approaching this weekend's game against Galway any different to any of their league games.
Rochford has yet to guide Mayo to a competitive win over Galway during his reign, but that fact will have no bearing on this weekend's clash between the sides.
A second successive defeat for Mayo could see them dragged into a relegation battle and Rochford told the Western People that he is keen to see his charges avoid that scenario.
"All the games in Division One are tough games," said Rochford. "They're all big results as well. In such a tight and competitive division you can be scrambling points going into the last two games. It's not a position we want to put ourselves in.
"We'll go about preparing well again this week and looking to improve on the performance. When you throw up a result like that you tend to focus solely on the negatives, so they're the only ones that spring to mind at the moment."
