Shane Lennon admits Louth made too many mistakes against Wexford.
The Wee County went into Sunday's Leinster SFC quarter-final at Drogheda as favourites but were edged out by the determined visitors.
"We just made too many individual mistakes," the Kilkerley Emmets attacker - who equalled Stefan White's record of 32 goals for Louth with his first-half strike - says in The Drogheda Independent.
"I know myself I went for goal when I probably should have taken a point. I thought there wasn't as much time left as there was and I had just asked the umpire. I thought he said there was only a minute, but there must have been more.
"The goal killed us in the second half. We had a bit of a run on them at that stage and got it back to four, but they went seven ahead then when they got that goal.
"Naturally, Wexford were fired up for it. It's a championship game and they got a chance to see us against Laois and probably had a bit of homework done."
