Congratulations and best wishes to two popular club members starting out on married life. Ferdia Mc Keown who played for many years in the O Raghs colours tied the knot on Saturday last while Chris Smith an ever present member of our current senior squad will walk down the aisle with Sabrina Shelbourne on next Thursday.

Last weeks match details; Senior team had a convincing win against the Geraldines 4-13 to 2-10 in the Sheelan shield. Great to have James Moonan back on the team after a long absence through injury and to put in a superb display. U14 team had a home victory 6-11 to 5-3 v the Finbars. The teams were level for a long period but a strong final fifteen minutes saw the home side pull away.Great performances from Pearse Rice, John Matthews,Ciaran Reilly and Neville Rath. Our U11 team were in brilliant form and had an away victory at the Wolfe Tones.The entire team deserve praise for their performance. The club are organising a bus to the Louth v Laois in the Leinster championship first round match on Sunday 26th May. All interested in booking a seat should leave name and booking deposit with Kevin King in the clubhouse.There are a limited number of seats still available.

The Mini Marathon is now 2 weeks away. The club has arranged to have all Race packs collected in Dundalk on next Sunday so get your registration details to Maura. A great day is planned with transport organised and meal in club on return.
