St Fechins bounced back from their surprise defeat in their previous outing to record a deserved five point win over St Marys.
Once again, Ronan Holcroft grabbed the headlines as he landed a total of ten points, including nine in the second half.
The Ardee side got off to a great start with the opening three points as they played with the wind in their backs. However, Niall Devlin got the Fechins off the mark with the first goal of the game on eight minutes.
The Fechins edged ahead with points from James Devereaux and Holcroft as they were denied further goals by a fine Duane Crosbie save and the referee's whistle.
The Mid Louth side finished the half stronger and at the break it was 1-6 to 1-4 in their favour but it didn't look to be enough given the strong breeze.
It was looking good for the Marys when they turned in a good third quarter to go three points ahead. However, Holcroft then took the game by the scruff of the neck and helped his side draw level before they finished stronger to claim victory.
