Dundalk Young Irelands notes
May 04, 2012Dundalk Young Irelands G.F.C intend starting their annual Lotto on Tuesday ,15th. May. The Jackpot will commence at €10,300-00 and if not won outright all "Match 3 " winners will share €150-00.
It will cost approx . €60,000-00 to run the Club during 2012. Items such as Public Liability , Property Insurance , Ground & Buildings refurbishment and maintenance , Player Insurance , Playing Gear & Equipment , Floodlights , Affiliation Fees and Bank Loan charges are annual costs which must be paid for and are the main areas of Expenditure .
The Lotto [ under the stewardship of Pat Bailey`s Committee ] is one of our major sources of income and we hope to keep this up during the coming months.
Every-one connected with D.Y.I will be issued with a Card containing 25 lines . It would be fantastic if we could all fill the card but being realistic we would hope that every-one would make a special effort to obtain as many customers as possible.
When you obtain a customer , simply write down his / her name along with a mobile number where Results can be forwarded to on a weekly basis . The four numbers chosen will be allocated to that person for the duration of the Lotto. Rather than "collect" €2-00 every week it might be possible for a customer to pay €10-00 / € 20-00 or €40-00 in advance . The benefits of this system are the numbers are automatically entered in all Draws.
Envelopes will also be distributed to those who would rather sell on a weekly basis. The responsibility lies with the Promoter to get the envelopes up to the Clubrooms every Tuesday night and in time for the Lotto.
Results to issue weekly by Text , on local Radio and in all the local newspapers.
The Club Committee appreciate the difficulties facing many of our members in these tough economic times yet we are seeking your full support for the Lotto over the next few months . We need that Support and co-operation now more than ever .
