League action continues unabated
April 26, 2012
League games are like buses; once one comes, they don't stop!
With two rounds of matches played already in the all-county football leagues, there is another round of games down for decision this weekend in all three divisions.
One of the most interesting contests could be Friday's all-Drogheda Division One clash between Newtown Blues - who haven't played a game in the competition yet - and O'Raghallaighs - who have opened their campaign in style with two wins from two.
Mattock Rangers are the only other side with a 100% record in Division One. They face unbeaten O'Connells on Friday night.
St Brides are the only team with a 100% record in Division Two but they've only played one game. Next up for them is St Marys on Saturday evening.
St Nicholas and Sean McDermotts are setting the pace in Division Three; they travel to Dunleer and Hunterstown respectively tomorrow night.
