Former Mitchels stalwart Sean Floyd has unfortunately passed away. Requiem Mass will be held at St Columba's Church, Plas Newton Lane, Chester CH2 1SA on Wednesday 11th January at 10.30am.

Sean was an avid follower of the present Mitchels team and travelled to the games in Ireland in 2009.

In 1953 Sean was a playing member of the Lancashire County Team which lost to Cork in the All-Ireland Junior County Final. Sean Floyd hailed from Tullyallen Co Louth and was a member of Mitchels for 50 years.
