U21 boss welcomes Dublin challenge

February 25, 2010
Kieran Maguire is looking forward to Louth's Leinster U21 championship clash with Dublin.

Having guided the Wee County to a crushing 4-16 to 0-8 victory over Wexford last weekend, the Dundalk man reckons his players have what it takes to reverse their recent run of bad results against the Metropolitans:

"You can only play what is put in front of you. Dublin will be a far different kettle of fish but I honestly think these boys have the mettle for it.

"These lads are probably different than previous U21 teams in that they have bottle and ability. And they know they have it - that's the difference."
