Louth's Keenan sidelined

Louth's Paddy Keenan
Louth midfielder Paddy Keenan has been ruled out of Sunday's O'Byrne Cup final.

Holders Louth entertain DCU in the subsidiary competition decider at Drogheda on Sunday (2.30) and Keenan will miss the game with a hamstring tear.

The St Patrick's clubman is also a doubt for the Wee County's next national league Division Three game - against Cavan on March 7.

Manager Peter Fitzpatrick confirmed: "I'll be lucky to have Paddy back for Cavan - he tore the hamstring."

The Reds are under pressure in the centre of the park as both Ronan Carroll and Sean O'Neill also picked up knocks in last weekend's defeat to Sligo at Markievicz Park.
