U12 Final Match Report

O’Raghallaighs 4-03, Hunterstown Rovers 2-7

 

Our U12 team travelled to Darver on Monday night to play against Hunterstown in the U12 league final. The match was a very tight and tense affair, but it would be the Raghs that came out on top at the end, with a winning margin of 2 points. Special mention to young Tom Walshe who scored 2 goals on the night, and to keeper Dylan Tiernan who pulled off a stunning save at the final minute to ensure we retained our lead. Well done to all players on the night.

Fixtures

Our Senior team play Newtown Blues this Friday in the last game of the league. Throw in is at 7.30pm at home. All support welcome.

 

On Wednesday, our U16 side play Geraldines in the Division 1A semi-final. Throw in is at 7.30pm away from home.

 

Next Monday, our U13s travel away from home to face off against Geraldines. Throw in is at 7.00pm.

Fleadh Cheoil 2019

An information night for volunteers for our Fleadh campsite will take place on Tuesday evening at 8.00pm in the clubhouse. The night will include an outline of the duties the volunteers will be asked to carry out throughout the week. We are also continuing to look for club members to volunteers for at least one shift during the week, to help make the Fleadh a success for the club. We look forward to seeing you there.

 

Golf Classic

Our annual golf classic is set to take place on Friday, 30th August at Seapoint Golf Links. Entry is €300 per team, including a meal afterward in the golf club. There are a limited number of morning tees times still available, so book your team in as soon as you can. We are also looking for tee / green sponsors for the day, with prices at €100. Other business

Our clubhouse bar is now hosting a weekly bingo night on Tuesday nights, kicking off at 9.30pm. Make sure to come along to what’s sure to be a great night of fun.
