Saturday's county senior football championship semi-final between St Columba's Mullinalaghta and Clonguish will have a strong Cavan connection to it.

The defending champions are once again managed by former Cavan footballer Mickey Graham, while coaching Clonguish is Breffni legend Dermot McCabe.

Ironically, when the sides met in the 2014 semi-final which Mullinalaghta won by a point, Graham was manager of Clonguish before guiding the champions to a first title in 66 years last season.

And it is Mullinalaghta who go into the game as favourites, but they face a very experienced Clonguish side who are seeking their first title since 2009.
