Killoe dominate in Team of Championship nominations
November 21, 2014County champions Killoe Emmet Og have twelve players nominated for the 2014 Team of the Championship.
The Longford GAA All-Stars team of the year will be announced at a Gala awards ceremony in the Rustic Inn, Abbeyshrule on Saturday, November 29th.
In total, 30 players have been nominated for the team of the year and asides from Killoe's 12, the breakdown of clubs is as follows: Mullinalaghta (6), Dromard (5), Clonguish (3), Colmcille (1), Longford Slashers (1), Carrickedmond (1), and Sean Connolly's (1).
The Player of the Year nominees are Killoe duo Daniel Mimnagh and Darragh Bennett and Mullinalaghta's Shane Mulligan.
