The 'big two' of Longford football in recent years will meet for a third consecutive year in the SFC.

Killoe and Longford Slashers rivalry has grown over the last few years and they are set to meet for the third consecutive year in the knockout stages of the championship.

The draw for the quarterfinals was made last weekend and that is the stand out fixture of the round which is due to be played at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park on Sunday evening.

Last year, Slashers came out on top when the sides clashed at the same stage, but Killoe may have the edge when they meet at the weekend.
