Longford manager Jack Sheedy feels that all the players and management must take responsibility for the heavy defeat to Tipperary.

The Midlanders season came to an abrupt end at Semple Stadium last Saturday evening when the Premier County ran out convincing winners.

Much was made of Longford's hard earned win over Derry in the previous round, but Sheedy stressed to the Longford Leader that everyone was to blame for the defeat collectively.

"We didn't perform as a team," said Sheedy. "We have to take responsibility for that. I'm not going to single out any individuals."
