Longford hurlers will play the winners of this weekend's clash between Leitrim and Warwickshire on May 19th.

Last weekend, Longford suffered an eleven-point defeat to Fermanagh in the opening round of the Lory Meagher Cup and although most teams are in action again this weekend, the Midlanders have a week to wait before their next outing.

Under new manager Frank Browne, Longford are trying to get their season back on track, but they are still missing a number of key players.

However, there were many positives to take from the game against Fermanagh and Browne now has two weeks to work on other areas of their game. Tweet
