Our senior team have had a disappointing couple of weeks in the Division 1 League. They lost out to Mostrim and Drumlish in the past two games. The lads held a commanding lead in the Mostrim game but let it slip from their grasp in the final fifteen minutes. Drumlish had that little extra experience and craft to edge ahead of Kenagh early in the second half and then hang on to that lead for the remainder of the match. The team play against Dromard next in Kenagh on Wednesday night at 8:30pm. We would encourage as many supporters as possible to come down to the game to cheer on the lads in what will be another tough test for the team. Well done to our under 16 team who had an impressive win last week. Also, well done to John Gill & Rory Connor who were part of the Longford Minor team who were unlucky to lose out to Meath in the Leinster Championship. Both of the lads did the club proud and played an integral part in the game. Tweet
