Lotto 23rd January 2012: The numbers drawn were 1, 13, 14 & 16. There was one match three winner, Ciaran & Megan Fallon from Lislea.
Next week's lotto is 11,500 euro and the draw will be held in Newman's. The Minor Board AGM & Nomination Night will take place this Wednesday, 25th January, at 7pm upstairs in the community center. We would encourage all parents to attend this meeting and would also ask new members of the community to come along to see what is happening in the club and hopefully get involved.
The annual Kenagh GFC Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday the 11th of February in The El Paso, Kenagh. 2011 was a big year for the club as we managed to win the Division two league and performed well in the Reserve League. There will be a limited number of tickets available for the night and we would urge people to snap them up when they become available. Tickets are 15 euro which will cover the cost of food and entertainment.
Our club membership is now due again for 2012. Adult player membership will cost 40 euro, non-player adult membership is 25 euro and family membership is 50 euro. We would encourage everybody in the community who is interested in supporting Kenagh GAA to start by purchasing their membership. Our registrars, Tom Canavan and Alan Jones will happy to process your details and issue you with a membership card.
We would like to bring to your attention that there will be a stewards training course taking place in Pearse Park on Saturday Feb 11th in Pearse Park. This is as a result of new Health & Safety regulations whereby games in Pearse Park can only be held provided that the GAA have accredited stewards in place. We would encourage club members to attend this training course.
Training continues this Wednesday @8pm & Saturday evening. There will also be a players meeting this Friday evening @8pm in the clubhouse. All players must attend. Tweet
